Standalone HR Advisor / HR Manager


Are you a proactive HR professional ready to take on a standalone role, within this local charity based business? We are looking for an experienced and motivated HR Advisor or HR Manager to join as the stand alone HR function, supporting approximately 40 FTEs across 3 sites.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Policy Review and Development: Regularly update, review, and rewrite policies to ensure they meet current standards and best practices.

  • Business Document Control: Maintain comprehensive documentation and records management for HR processes, policies, and employee-related documentation.

  • Qualifications & Certifications Management: Keep track of employee certifications and qualifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and business requirements.

  • End-to-End HR Support: Provide a full range of HR support across the business, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and training.


About You:


This role is ideal for someone looking to step into a standalone HR position and make a tangible impact. You’ll have a strong understanding of HR best practices and be comfortable working autonomously to support a small team. A keen eye for detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels are essential.
