Kurn to do turn to help charity earn
TV’s Michael Kurn is to compere the Rose Road Glitter Ball in Portsmouth that will include the best of local talent and entertainment.
The Rose Road Association provides essential respite care and other vital services for around 400 children and young people across Hampshire and the surrounding counties.
Its Glitter Ball is being sponsored by local businesses Wild Recruitment and TJ Transport.
Guests will have the opportunity to be adorned in glitter before enjoying a sumptuous three course meal and then dancing the night away to the sounds of the Little Big Band and DJ Mike Jupp.
Local magician Scott Thatcher will be on hand to mesmerise and entertain throughout the night at the Marriott Hotel.
Michael Kurn is long time ambassador for Rose Road and will be helping raise money with a raffle and auction.
Juno Hollyhock, Chief Executive at Rose Road, said: “We’re so grateful to TJ Transport and Wild Recruitment for supporting us for the third year running.
“Being able to hold an event like this in Portsmouth will make a huge difference to the many families we support there through our outreach scheme. We’re really looking forward to what is set to be a fabulous evening.”
