Reports to: Head of Marketing
Abilities: The ideal candidate will have proven organisation and problem solving skills and will ideally have had experience within a marketing environment and been involved with event management.
Personality: An enthusiastic and outgoing team player is required with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
1. Events and hospitality
Relates to road shows, customer seminars, workshops, partner events, trade shows, customer hospitality and award / gala dinners:Work with suppliers including but not limited to venues, couriers, catering etc. and negotiate best ratesOrganise logistics for staff, kit and customers/suppliers including shipping, agenda, travel, accommodation, set upOwn the "exhibitor manual" for each eventWork closely with Marketing Managers to ensure that the appropriate pre-event marketing activities take place and also to ensure the marketing messages and the brand are represented correctly at each event (via signage etc)On-the-day hospitality including meeting and greeting customers at registration and ensuring catering is delivered in a timely mannerOversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
2. Marketing administrative activities
Assist with handling marketing enquiries (phone and email)Book meetings, flights, hotels, travel and other marketing team admin tasksWork with suppliers, including printers, promotional merchandisers, design agencies
From time to time, assist the marketing team with communications functions via Salesforce and Dotmailer including:Generating and maintaining distribution listsBuilding and sending out ecastsAssist with Webinars
